Dr. Maria de Bruyn joins Calgary Vein & Laser.

Born and raised In Namibia, a small country in the south western part of Africa, Dr. de Bruyn graduated from the University of Stellenbosch Medical School in 1989. After receiving additional training in anaesthesia, she came to Canada in 1993.

Dr. de Bruyn spent a number of years in Saskatchewan in a busy obstetrical practice with a special interest in all aspects of woman’s health. In 2001, Dr. de Bruyn moved to Calgary and started practicing Phlebology and Cosmetic medicine. Dr. de Bruyn brings 10 years of experience to Calgary Vein & Laser, with her vast experience in the treatment of venous disease and cosmetic procedures. Dr. de Bruyn has a special interest in treating Acne and Rosacea. She is a certified injector for Botox and tissue fillers. Dr. de Bruyn is a member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and is actively involved in the examination process of family medicine residents.
